The Future Project

by Kill the Cat Theatre

Let’s face it, 2020 was rubbish.

However, we think there is something rather exciting in the way theatre changed dramatically to embrace the digital sphere.

What does this mean for the future of theatre? What lessons can we learn?

The Future Project, curated by Kill The Cat, is a series of interviews with those who’ve been at the forefront of theatre’s new digital frontier. A free resource for artists, theatre makers and anyone interested in digital theatre, accessibility, interactive theatre, and sustainability. Interviewees include Lyn Gardner, Dante or Die, Graeae, Pigfoot Theatre, Crossover Labs and HOME Manchester.

Kill The Cat is an award-winning interactive theatre company run by co-artistic directors Dylan Frankland and Madeleine Allardice. Produced by Turtle Key Arts. Using interaction to tackle social issues, we give our audiences agency and choice; placing them at the heart of the action. But above all creating a shared sense of community & play.
