Focus Groups and Interviews

We are currently recruiting participants for online focus groups, looking at different disciplines within the industry. We’re looking for focus group participants to discuss their experiences and reflections within various specialisms, in particular we are looking for lighting or sound technicians, lighting or sound designers, stage crew, set designers and stage managers.
Creative Micro Commissions
We are holding a series of six micro-commissions in London, Plymouth, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle and Edinburgh, asking theatre makers to create a short creative response to their experience of the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenges they’ve faced as theatre freelancers. Survey: Freelancers
Our survey of theatre freelancers ran from November 2020 until March 2021. We heard from 397 theatre freelancers and are currently analysing the data. Please see ‘Publications’ for more on our emerging findings.
